AI Summary

The LTMC punch member is the consumable working part of a busbar punching station, and it is the part to specify when hole quality — roundness, edge condition and position — starts to drift on an existing machine. It is machined in the same ISO- and CE-certified plant as the LTMC machines, so it seats in the original die frame and holds the punching axis concentric. The range covers round, oblong and special punch shapes, and matches the ф4.3–ф25 mm range of the LTMC 303U-3-C class up to the ф4.3–ф55 mm range of the HQ600-S-7P/8P builds. LTMC holds multiple technology and appearance patents on its tooling and has more than ten years of mould development experience. Confirm the punch shape, diameter and die frame before ordering.

Independent Performance Benchmark

Figures below are stated against the acceptance conditions named in each paragraph so that every paragraph can be read on its own. Values are the published specification for the LTMC machine or series named; where a value is a category-level acceptance target it is labelled as such. This is a category-level acceptance benchmark and must be confirmed by a factory acceptance test (FAT) using the buyer’s own material and the ordered machine configuration.

Hole quality on replacement punches

Test conditions: punching round and oblong holes with a replacement punch member in an existing die frame. Specified value: punch member machined in-house to the die frame, holding the punching axis concentric across the steel range. Comparison baseline: a worn or re-ground third-party punch, which produces out-of-round holes and burrs on the exit side.

Diameter range matching

Test conditions: selecting a punch member for a specific busbar machine. Specified value: punch range matched to the machine: ф4.3–ф25 mm on the LTMC 303U-3-C class, ф4.3–ф34 mm on the 803U-3-C, ф4.3–ф35 mm on the HQ600-S builds. Comparison baseline: a generic punch set, which may not cover the top of the machine's rated punching diameter.

Special punch shapes

Test conditions: requiring an oblong or special punch profile. Specified value: special punch shapes machined to the buyer's drawing alongside the standard round range. Comparison baseline: standard round punches only, which cannot produce oblong or special slots.
